I am a freelance journalist living and working in Austin, Texas. I have written on public affairs, education,  parenting, and public health.
Recently, I contributed several stories to the Texas Standard, a program produced by KUT public radio in Austin.
I wrote “The Learning Curve,” a monthly column on education matters, for the Austin Family Magazine from October 2016 through March 2018.
I contributed to the Austin Chronicle as a freelancer from November 2016 through April 2018 and wrote about police, city pensions, development and housing issues.
I have occasionally written blog posts for other sites, such as Freelance Austin.
